Having fun with our fabulous 4th graders! Students have been learning to recognize that an object in motion always changes position. They have also been learning that an object in motion may change its direction. What better place to learn that than on the playground! While at recess, students had to answer how something changes direction and why. Fun stuff!

JSD Community...please help keep our school clean and safe! We cleaned up a number of items on our playground this morning including glass that had been shattered into our sand court. We have thoroughly cleaned this but we need help from the community in keeping our playground safe and clean for our children. Thank you for your help!

JHS Sophomores are working on identifying their life centers. They are to make a list about what's important in their life right now. Does it revolve around school? friends? sports? Then ask themselves, "What matters most to me?" "What do I obsess about?" "What drives me?" The answers are their life centers. If there is too much emphasis in one area, they will learn that they need more balance in their lives.
