The Julesburg School District honors the service and sacrifice of our men and women currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. We would like to especially recognize two of our very own Class of 2020 Graduating Seniors Ronnie Westerbuhr and Sirissa Casady who will be serving in the United States Army!

The Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) Board has recommended to the State Board of Education that the Julesburg School District's grant application to build a new $40 Million PK-12 School be awarded and funded by either cash or lease/purchase financing under the current $160M appropriation.  With potential cuts to that appropriation proposed in the delayed legislative session, the Julesburg School District's new school project may move to being the first "backup" project if $30M or more is cut from the current $160M BEST Grant funding appropriation.
