5th grade is learning about Simple Machines! Their STEM project this week was to make a Catapult that used energy from rubber bands to launch something 25 ft! These guys stepped up to the challenge! Great Job 5th Grade! Here are a few of the Catapults!

The JHS Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2020 scheduled to occur on Sunday, May 17th @ 1:30 p.m. has been postponed. Due to the Governor's order, restricting gatherings to be less than 10 people, the Julesburg High School Graduation for the Class of 2020 has two additional alternate dates. These dates are contingent upon the Governor's future decision around the number of people that are allowed to gather. 1) Saturday, June 6th @ 2:00 p.m. 2) Saturday, June 27th @ 2:00 p.m Details to follow . . . . . . .

Second grade got to grab a snack and a drink and go on a virtual field trip to the Statue of Liberty! A huge thank you to Brycce Wilber for sharing a slideshow of his trip to Washington D.C. We also listened to some videos of interviews with immigrant students! Great questions and discussions.
