“Day 1 of the FFA National Convention was a success! We kicked things off with an incredible stop at Blackshirt Feeders in Haigler, NE. This state-of-the-art facility is set to house 150,000 head of cattle when completed in 2026! The feedmill and handling systems are among the best in the world, truly impressive. The students learned about the benefits of growing cattle on concrete. We wrapped up the day traveling across Kansas, making new friends from the other 9 FFA chapters on this journey with us. Exciting news from our third-grade class! Today, we enhanced our math skills with a fun game where students created rectangles using square tiles. Each student described their shape to their partner, who then tried to replicate it! They had a blast trying to stump each other while learning how to describe shapes accurately.

5th grade students created pumpkin oobleck to finish out our Investigating Matter unit. It was a great review before the test, reviewing the properties that make up each state of matter.
The elementary students decided to ride on scooters for their fun day. It's always fun seeing the students have fun and cooperating with each other.
