Learning word patterns are essential for young minds to enhance their writing and reading skills!
Second graders practice spelling in a unique and engaging way. Each roll of the dice has students practicing those patterns by writing as tiny as they can, writing in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, write with your opposite hand, or with their eyes closed. Practice makes perfect!

🌟 Inspiring Return! 🌟
We were honored to welcome Lance Corporal MC Neal, a proud graduate of Julesburg High School and a dedicated member of the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves, back to our school this week. 🎖️
Lance Corporal Neal shared his incredible journey and reminded our students that life can be challenging at every stage. His powerful message . . . "Tap into your resources—your teachers, parents, coaches, and community members. There are people in this very community that support you and want to help you succeed. I know this first hand because I should not be where I am today."
As he prepares for deployment next month, we’re grateful for his service and commitment. Let’s carry his words of encouragement with us and support one another in our own journeys!

In our Junior High ICAP class, students are diving deep into the fascinating world of personality! Working in pairs, they’re exploring key characteristics of personality, including emotional, social, and intellectual traits. This collaborative approach allows them to share insights and deepen their understanding of self-concept, positive messages, and the impact of negative messages.
One of the highlights of our discussions has been around building self-esteem. Students are learning to embrace praise, focus on their strengths, and accept themselves as they are. They’re discovering the importance of learning from mistakes and taking responsibility for their lives, all while supporting each other in this journey.
By sharing knowledge and experiences, our students are not only enhancing their understanding of personality but also cultivating a positive environment that fosters self-acceptance and personal growth. Together, they’re learning that understanding oneself is the first step to thriving in all aspects of life. Keep up the great work, everyone! 💪✨
