Our preschool students have been busy at work learning how to be in a classroom setting over the past few weeks and learning new routines and expectations. But beyond what is captured during our lessons, we must demonstrate the importance of play at this age. What you see is children playing, but behind the scenes, I am capturing data on how my students are learning to share, work together, and problem solve. All vital skills for children to acquire.
Did you know that play is crucial for a child's development? 🧠💡
Through play, children:
• Develop problem-solving skills
• Enhance creativity and imagination
• Build social and emotional intelligence
• Improve physical coordination
What's your favorite memory of playing as a child? Share in the comments and let's celebrate the power of play! 🎉👶
