With technology constantly evolving, exploring this field could ensure job security in the future of our economy.

10th grade Biology students are observing onion cells with digital microscopes to compare and contrast the impact after being exposed to saltwater vs. freshwater and observing snail eggs forming in their “Pond In A Jar” experiments.

8th graders are competing to see which group can create the best cooler to keep food cold. They have been studying how thermal energy transfers.
Jr. High Girls Basketball Game at Perkins County (Grant, NE) on Thursday, January 21st; 4:00 “B”game / 5:15 “A” game.
Everyone must wear a mask except for the active participants in the game (players, coaches, and officials). Limited to 450 fans, so all fans wanting to watch the game live shouldn’t have a problem getting into the gym. We will broadcast the game live on the SCC YouTube channel:

Jr. High Boys Basketball Game at Holyoke on Thursday, January 21st; 4:00 “B” game / 5:15 “A” game. Everyone must wear a mask (including players). Limit of 2 fans per player, per game. The game will be live streamed on Holyoke's YouTube channel, the link will be sent out tomorrow.
The game sink or swim works on addition facts and odd and even. The second graders could be heard anxiously awaiting the results during their continuous play.
12th Graders in Economics are teaching each other about economic systems around the world.
Kindergarten made Valentine’s Day Bumble Bees 🐝. They will be delivered to the Nursing Home/Assisted Living Center for the residents to enjoy! ❤️

Jr. High Boy's Basketball Game vs. Caliche - Thursday, January 19th @ @ JHS Gym. "B" game will start at 4:00 p.m. (fans, limit of 2 per player, will not be allowed to enter the gym until 3:50 p.m.) Following the "B" game, the gym will be cleared of all fans and disinfected. "A" game will start at 5:30 p.m. (fans, limit of 2 per player, will not be allowed to enter the gym until 5:20 p.m.) Admission will be $3.00 per game. Masks must be worn by all in attendance.”

Julesburg Elementary School Gifted and Talented Coordinator Betty Hoschouer is working with 6th Grader LaAndran Romero in this semester's Infusion Class, Optical Illusion Art. This course is teaching LaAndran how to hand draw several different optical illusions using precision, various mathematical tools, and creativity.
