JES 3rd graders are conducting experiments about the different types of motion and friction.




In Second Step, all students worked on coming up with goals for the new year. We made our goals SMART: Specific, Measurable, Actionable/Attainable, Relevant/Realistic, and Time-bound.




Pre-K working on identifying and writing the #4.


Highline Power and Tri-State Electric visited with several science classes this afternoon. They presented information about working as a lineman, electric safety, and where our power comes from.


First graders are working on addition facts by playing the game I have, Who has?




Students are working together on identifying slope of a line during Geometry.

Monoprinting in 8th grade art! Mia Reed is creating texture on the gelli plate before adding natural elements as stencils.


ATTENTION parents and students of JHS.
There will be an informational gathering at Julesburg High School tomorrow, January 9 at 5:00, for any junior high or high school students that are interested in joining a science club. The science club will last through February and will involve participation in a science fair at NJC. Please come if you or your child is interested.

Mr. Engelker and Mr. Berges present Itai Gonzales with a check for winning the Sedgwick County VFW Post 3951 Patriot’s Pen Essay contest. Her essay will be sent to a the District contest and has the potential to then be sent to the State and National level contest.

The Junior High Girl’s Basketball Game scheduled for Monday, January, 6th has been moved to Tuesday, January 7th. The games will start at 4:00 in Julesburg. There will be two quarters of B followed by the A game. Thanks!
