Mrs. Wilbers 4th grade Social Studies class successfully completed one of the most important modules, The Revolutionary War. Students learned that The Revolutionary War was primarily triggered by the growing tension between the American colonies and the British government. Key events include the imposition of taxes, like the Stamp Act and the Townshend Acts, without colonial representation in Parliament. Protests and events, like the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party, escalated the conflict. In response, Britain implemented the Coercive Acts, or Intolerable Acts, further uniting the colonies in their quest for independence, eventually leading to the outbreak of war in 1775.

“A big thank you to Mr. Sanabria for bringing first and second grade's procedural writing unit to life by acting out the students’ instructions on how to make a peanut butter sandwich. This activity was a fun and eye-opening way to show students the importance of being precise and specific in their writing!”

Mrs. A introduced us to Larry the Line. We learned the differences between diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines. To make it more exciting, we crafted our own colorful snakes using pasta and beads!

What a fantastic science lesson today! Our 3rd graders dove into the world of pendulums by predicting how many times it would swing back and forth before stopping. They even adjusted their movements to get it to stop at 10 swings!Plus, they explored division while calculating the average swings

Our preschool class had a haunting good time on Halloween Day 👻 They had the opportunity to team up with some of our amazing older students for a few special activities! It was heartwarming to see the little ones learning from their “big buddies,” and equally incredible to watch the third grade students step up as mentors. Activities like these help foster a sense of community and build social skills for everyone involved. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help create these bonds and can’t wait to see these student relationships grow! #CommunityBuilding #Mentorship #LearningTogether
