Exciting news for our amazing third-grade students! Sedgwick County Rotary just donated incredible dictionaries that are so much more than just word references. These books are packed with fascinating information about states, countries, and US presidents. A HUGE thank you to Jennifer Lanckriet and Brenda Avitia and the Rotary Club for supporting our young learners' educational journey

What better way to learn division than with snap cubes and classmates? Our second graders are taking on the challenge of division! While they were initially a bit nervous, Tara West’s creative approach—using hands-on manipulatives and plenty of practice—makes it fun and manageable. We’re so proud of their effort and their willingness to embrace new challenges with an open mind!

A snowball fight in the music room? ❄️ You read that right! Kindergartners played a music notation matching game in the form of a snowball fight. When the music stopped, each student grabbed a 'snowball' and read their 4 count rhythm, either in standard notation or with words. Then they had to find their match!

Exciting news for Julesburg FFA! We’re thrilled to announce that three of our members were awarded SAE Grants from the Colorado FFA Foundation! 🌟 Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) are student-led, instructor-supervised, work-based learning experiences that help students develop career-ready skills. 👉 Carlie Brandt and Cade Hoschouer each received a $1,750 grant for their projects. Carlie is starting her own Miniature Hereford herd 🐮, and Cade is launching an aluminum recycling business ♻️. 👉 Levi Reichman received a $1,500 Heifer Wrangler Grant, which will help him purchase a heifer to integrate into his growing cattle herd 🐂. We are so proud of these students for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. Congratulations, Carlie, Cade, and Levi! 👏 #JulesburgFFA #SAEProjects #ColoradoFFA #StudentSuccess
